Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using UCreen you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms; continued use after posting updates constitutes acceptance.

2. Service Description

UCreen is a personal media-tracking application that lets you catalogue, rate, and organise movies and TV shows. Movie and TV data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDb) under their API terms. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.

3. User Accounts

• You may use the service anonymously. Vault data is stored locally until you create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits is prohibited.

4. User Content

Notes, ratings, and list names you create remain yours. By submitting content you grant UCreen a non-exclusive licence to store and display it to you and, for public lists, to others you share them with.

You must not submit content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes third-party rights.

5. Premium Subscriptions

• Certain features may require a paid subscription billed through Stripe.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact support@UCreen.app.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate API requests beyond normal app usage
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt our infrastructure

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Profile settings or by contacting support.

8. Disclaimers

UCreen is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Movie data from TMDb may be inaccurate; we are not liable for decisions made based on it. Streaming availability information is sourced from JustWatch via TMDb and may not be current in your region.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UCreen's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our operating entity is registered. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration except where prohibited by law.
