Our Approach
UCreen does not use tracking cookies. We rely solely on browser localStorage and sessionStorage — data that never leaves your device and is never shared with advertisers.
What We Store
- Auth session tokens — keeps you signed in (Supabase)
- User preferences — your selected region, last visited section, dismissed banners
- Setup flags — whether you've completed first-run setup (name, region)
All stored data is local to your browser. Clearing your browser storage or using private/incognito mode removes it.
What We Do NOT Use
- Third-party advertising or tracking cookies
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
- Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
Third-Party Scripts
UCreen loads no third-party analytics scripts. The only external requests made by the app are to our own API, Supabase (database), TMDb (movie data), and Vercel (hosting). None of these services set advertising cookies.
